  • So much for a stress-free wedding. A shot rings out at Nikki and Victor’s wedding reception. What does the Congressman have to do with it? Everything.
  • The shot misses its mark (Victor) when Adam dives in front heroically.
  • Victor and Nick hurry to take care of Adam.
  • Billy detects a gas leak. But upon closer inspection, he sees a bomb. The wedding guests evacuate quickly.
  • Billy heads into the danger zone, trying to cut the right cords so the bomb doesn’t go off.
  • The smell of gas sends guests outside in a hurry. But Nick stays behind, right by Adam’s side.
  • Alex’s cop instincts kick into gear as he nabs the gunman named Bob.
  • Nick has to tell Sharon that Adam was shot down and taken to ER STAT.
  • Sharon doesn’t hesitate to get to the hospital right away to check on Adam, along with Nikki and Victor.
  • Adam’s lung has been compromised by the gunshot, requiring tricky surgery to fix.
  • Dr. Kurt Costner informs Victor, Sharon, Nikki, etc. of Adam’s dire condition and the need for immediate surgery.
  • Victor orders Dr. Kurt to go to it, make sure Adam survives.
  • Sharon notifies Chelsea about Adam’s dire condition. Chelsea drops everything to be at the hospital.
  • Congressman Wheeler learns of the botched bomb attempt and frantically thinks of Plan B.
  • Paul receives word about the shooting and a man down.
  • Victor and Jack will band together to fight the good fight against Congressman Marcus Wheeler.
  • Sharon and Chelsea make haste to the ER to see about Adam, converging.
  • A confused Chelsea tries to sort through the shooting and the bomb, but Sharon’s just as confused. Chelsea wants answers (someone to blame, hi, Victor).
  • Dr. Costner allows only family to see Adam next, which prompts Chelsea to tell Sharon to be the one to go. Sharon demurs, insisting it be Chelsea. But this softens Sharon toward Chelsea.
  • Chelsea bows out, so Sharon can see Adam and see for herself what’s going on, believing Adam would rather have it that way.
  • Sharon protests, believing someone else should check in on Adam next.
  • Chelsea lays into Victor for never loving Adam, now look.
  • Chloe pushes Chelsea to come clean with Adam, now.
  • A scared and rattled Sharon seeks out refuge with a trusted someone.
  • Victor comes around, filled with clashing emotions as he gazes at his injured son, the son who took a bullet for him.
  • Adam makes a full recovery, relieving those who care about him.
  • Dr. Costner informs the Newman clan that family alone may visit Adam.
  • The tragedy forces Nick to take a hard look at himself and what he wants with Avery. Is he proposing marriage to her? She assumes so.
  • Nick feels around with Avery. But it’s not what she thinks, and this is a problem. She is off her game.
  • Victor leaves no stone unturned to find who did this to his son and tried to do this to him. It will lead him and Jack to put aside their differences and go after the congressman together.
  • Michael continues to emotionally unravel, like that dad in the The Shining.
  • Screwing around with Carmine isn’t helping Lauren’s cause. Neither is her defiant stance around Michael afterwards.
  • The latest temptation proves tough for Lauren to turn away.
  • Michael wants Lauren to start explaining herself.
  • Michael wants to try couples therapy. Of course Lauren turns that idea down, reminding him that she still requires time away to think.
  • Angered by Lauren’s continuing to put him off, Michael explodes, walks away, and does something drastic.
  • Kyle tries not to gawk at Summer’s tremendous rack. He better. Mama bear is glaring at him.
  • Phyllis interferes with Summer’s sexy time.
  • Phyllis is about to blow her stack. Kyle insists she’s misunderstanding the situation.
  • Phyllis has her hands full with Summer gunning for Kyle.
  • Grateful for their lives, Victoria and Billy schedule what’s next for themselves as a family, like adding to it via infertility treatments.
  • Leslie and Tyler disagree about Gus. It blows up.
  • Leslie and Tyler anxiously sit out Gus’ case as the wheels of justice grind slowly.
  • Cane and Tyler are going to come to blows soon.
  • Next week:  Victor and Jack work together to ensure Congressman Wheeler pay dearly… Victoria and Billy can’t wait to start making a baby together, by any means necessary… Lauren seems to actually be falling for that sleaze-bag Carmine. It’s not as easy for her to dump him and repair her marriage to Michael… The Chloe and Kevin show commences in fine style… Lily’s fine with Chelsea, now that Cane stopped working closely with her. But that’s not the case with Cane and Tyler… Kyle doesn’t mean to, but he makes Summer’s crush worse.
